Farm Safety Week Members sponsor a poster contest for elementary students
  Members judge posters created by 4th-6th graders
  Members distribute prizes to contest winners
  Members give farm safety presentations to 4th-6th graders to encourage farm safety   
FFA Dues FFA dues are due the third week of the month
  Members receive a Tri County FFA t- shirt with the payment of dues
Trash Pickup Members pickup two miles of trash along the highway
Concessions Members volunteer to help with school concessions

October Meeting FFA/FBLA hayrack ride with hotdog roast
Land Judging Members of the Natural Resources class participate in the District Land Judging contest to promote ecology and soil conservation to our members
National Convention Members are preparing and making plans for attending

Photo Day All members are photographed wearing their chapter FFA

November Meeting Regular FFA meeting
FFA National Convention Members participate in National Convention activities in Louisville, Kentucky
  Members tour several agricultural businesses
  Members attend the National Career Show to improve interest in agricultural career opportunities
Leadership Laboratory Member attend Grand Island to participate in the Leadership Laboratory to improve their leadership skills
Fruit Sales Members sell fruit, meat and cheese packages, and poinsettias for the chapter’s fundraisers as well as to increase their confidence and social skills
FFA/FBLA Banquet Members participate in the annual FFA/FBLA banquet at Tri County to improve relations with other school organizations as well as provide a community fellowship activity

Fruit sorting and delivering Members sort and deliver fruit they have sold
Christmas charity acts Members collect toys, coats, and other things for a local charity
Concessions Members volunteer to help with the school concessions
State FFA Chorus State FFA chorus applications are due.  Members are encouraged to apply to further their social and leadership skills as well as being recognized for their achievements

FFA District LeadershipContests Members go to Southeast Community College in Beatrice for the FFA District Leadership Contest to participate in various contest
FFA Recruitment Members give a presentation to 8th graders about FFA and encourage them to join the organization

February Meeting Regular chapter meeting
FFA Week The chapter sponsors a community appreciation breakfast for all supporters of the FFA
  Members attend one day of school during the week wearing their official dress to promote the National FFA week and the organization
  Members create a FFA trivia quiz for the teachers to promote the FFA among the faculty
  Greenhand day is held for the first year members, in which they have their hands painted green for the day
Applications State FFA Degree and State FFA Proficiencies applications are due.  Members are encouraged to apply to further their social and leadership skills as well as being recognized for their achievements
Career Development Members go to Southeast Community College in Beatrice to participate in the Career Development Events which will help them to improve their social and leadership skills

Greenhand Degree Ceremonies New members are awarded the Greenhand degree
Chapter Degrees Ceremonies Greenhand members are awarded the chapter degree
Officer and Scholarship Local officer and scholarship applications are due.  Members are encouraged to apply to develop leadership and social skills
Chapter development committe Slide show committee is formed for our Chapter FFA Banquet
State Officer Candidate Applications are due for a State FFA Office.  Members are encouraged to apply to further their leadership skills and serve the Nebraska Association

State FFA Convention Members are delegates for each convention session
FFA convention Members attend leadership workshops during the State
  Members compete in Agriculture and FFA leadership contest to qualify for Nationals
  Members receive State Degrees
  Members serve on State FFA committees
  Members represent the Tri County Chapter
  Members participate in the State FFA Chorus
  Members attend Leadership Conferences
  Members tour the UNL Campus
Nomination Committee The nominations committee interviews the members who have applies for a chapter office to develop a slate
FFA Banquet Invite other chapters to our banquet
  Members construct a Chapter display for the banquet depicting agricultural and FFA
  Recognize Alumni, Alumni Business members, parents, and supporters of our chapter for all their support throughout the year
  Announce Scholarship winners 1-$150 FFA, 1-$150 leader of points system 1-$200 FFA Alumni
  Announce Dekalb winner to the outstanding senior in FFA
  Announce other winners such as Record Book winners, proficiency winners, Greenhand winners, etc.
  Top four students in each grade are given cash awards for leading the point system
Plant Sales The Greenhouse is open for a week to sell the plants that were grown
  Members volunteer to work in the greenhouse

COLT New officers attend the Chapter Officer Leadership Training Conference in Aurora to build leadership skills and prepare fro their upcoming officer duties

PEAK Conference Members go to Aurora for three days to the PEAK (Pursing Excellence Achievement and Knowledge) Conference to learn leadership and meet other people
FFA Float Members create a float for the DeWitt Community Parade to further promote FFA

  Members assist with Gage County Fair barn watch duty
