Livestock

Livestock has been a big part of my life. Until I was 8 years old my dad used to raise cross bred hogs and has always raised a commercial beef

cattle herd. When I was in second grade I started to show bucket calves at the county fair and eventually worked my way up to show cross bred

market steers and breeding heifers. My sophomore year of high school I started showing pigs at county fair. Also, during my sophomore year I

started my own registered Angus cattle herd and began showing at the state fair. Pictured above is one of my show heifers from my junior year and a pure

bred Angus bull that I raised that year.
