I am muy emocionada (very excited) about this class! These students have chosen to take Spanish beyond what is generally required for college admittance!! We have increased our use of the Spanish language in the classroom at this level as well. By second semester my goal is to only be speaking Spanish during class...and I know that these students can do it!!
We are also taking time on Fridays to complete semester projects! I am looking forward to seeing the work these creative students put into them! Some students are developing games in the Spanish language, some are tutoring elementary students, some are doing extensive research on topics such as soccer, music, and art. I can't wait for their presentations!
