Third Quarter

We are currently working on a chapter in which we learn how to discuss friendships and our feelings about what other people do.  This is used with the subjunctive mood...a completely new thing for this advanced class.  While this is one of the most sophisticated use of the Spanish language and one that is often times not even approached at the high school level, this seniors are attacking it head on....and with great success!!!  We will continue to learn more and more uses of the subjunctive as we advance in our text!

Back by popular demand!!!!  We had such a great faculty and student response from our Spanish newsletters that we produced first semester, that we will continue to report the events, interests, and activities of our Tri County student body with upcoming issues!  We have altered it a bit to appeal to a broader audience by adding an English translation section!

We are also getting ready to embark on a new project that these seniors are super-excited about!!  They are going to be developing "movies" to teach Spanish grammar concepts to the other Spanish levels....not only will these be educational...but I'm sure quite humorous as well!  These seniors are bound to leave a legacy for the underclassmen to follow!!
