 JOSEPH T. REMMERS Specialist 4 Joe Remmers entered the U.S. Army full-time in July 2001. He completed his basic training at Fort Benning, GA. Advanced Individual Training: Graduated from basic transportation training – Fort Leonardwood MO – October, 2004. Deployed: 68th Trans Battalion – Germany – November, 2001- March, 2003 – semi truck driver. March, 2003 – Present – He was called to duty in Iraq. The 68th Trans Battalion (about 100 soldiers) logged 2.5 million miles (truck driving) in the Kuwait and Iraq area. He returned to Germany in September and was rotated back to the states in December and was stationed at Fort Campbell KY until June of this year and now he is back in Iraq. Currently: Joe is currently serving in Iraq with the 594th Trans Company.
