Congratulations to the Tri County Educational Foundation for another successful Firecracker Fun Run held on Saturday, June 30th. Over eighty people participated in the 1-mile or 5K run through DeWitt and out into the country side and back again. The annual fundraiser will provide over $8,000 for students and staff members at the school district. For students, the money will continue to support scholarships for graduating seniors to continue their education at a post secondary institution. Staff members will have the opportunity to apply for mini-grants that can be used for supplemental materials for a new project that supports student learning. Please see the attached spread sheetfor the results of the 1-mile and 5K fun run and remember to check the tabs at the bottom for the 1-mile and 5K results. A great big THANK YOU to Brian Scherling for continuing to help with the annual event.
