Students had a busy day learning about fire safety.  The Plymouth and DeWitt Volunteer Fire Department stopped at Tri County to discuss Fire Safety with the Kindergarten students.  After the Fire Safety discussion, students headed outside to see the Fire Truck and Ambulance.  Students were able to get into the vehicles and explore them.  Students enjoyed using the fire hose to spray water on the side of the school building.  Students sat in the back of an ambulance and asked many questions about the equipment.  Finally, students tried on the fire fighter's gear to see what it was like to wear the helmet, boots, pants, and jacket.  Students learned about fire safety, as well as experience the sights -and sounds- of the fire truck and ambulance.
