FFA OFFICERS ATTEND COLT CONFERENCE
TRI COUNTY FFA OFFICERS ATTEND STATE CONFERENCE
Seven Tri County FFA Officers attended the fourth session of the Nebraska State FFA Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) on May 28 & 29th. The statewide training was hosted by the Nebraska Dept. of Education and the Nebraska State FFA Officers,
Attending were Savannah Gerlach, President; Taylor Cammack, Vice-President; Tiffany Pearson, Secretary; Madison Freese, Treasurer; Creighton Niemeyer, Reporter; Chad Niemeier, Sentinel; and Alexx Malchow, Historian. Advisor Dave Barnard accompanied the group. The training was conducted at the Nebraska Youth Leadership Center at Aurora, NE.
The COLT theme was, “Lights, Camera, TAKE Action”. The leadership sessions centered on team building, goal setting and developing a local Chapter Program of Activities. In the state book competitions Savannah Gerlach’s Treasurer's Book was awarded a Gold, Kailey Weichel’s Secretary’s Book earned a Gold award and the Chapter’s social media was awarded a Gold.
