 The Tri County FFA Officers hosted an Ag Orientation Night for junior high and ninth graders on August 18th in the TC Ag Education Department.  President Hannah Holtmeier  welcomed the students and their parents.  Advisor Dave Barnard then addressed upcoming events and opportunities. Nineteen students participated.

The officers conducted six learning centers for all to participate in.  Andie Koch sponsored a greenhouse horticulture activity, Landen Chapman set up a livestock breed identification station, Gavin Weichel had an animal science equipment section, Logan Larson offered a station on crop seed identification and Ella Crawford conducted a tool identification center. Brevin Damrow hosted a swine market hog judging class for the students.  President Holtmeier and Nicole Vodraska calculated scores for all the tests. The FFA thanks the Kirk Holtmeier Family for providing swine to judge.  

Placing first was ninth grader August Gerlach and John Wehrman earned the runner-up spot.  Third place was Caden Bales and fourth place went to Tayden Gronemeyer. Other participants include Ellie Peters,Colton Bales, Kaden Vanwinkle, Colton Placek, Lucas Lewandowski, Evan Quakenbush, Kaden Koch, Samuel Wagner, Cassidy Thavent, Braiden Strouf, Aubriana Sluka, Jonah Schwab, Mason Schmidt, Jackson Kirchoff, Dustin Kapke, Kinsley Fletcher, Jordyn Zulauf, Sydney Brauer, Kennedee VanWinkle, Zach Bergmeier and Isabelle Peters.  The Chapter thanks TC FFA Alumni members Mr. Vern Jantzen and Mr. Kirk Holtmeier for their assistance during the night.
