Working...
I am a teacher and technology coordinator at Tri County Public Schools. I have been working at TC since 2002 and yes this is my first job in the education field. I graduated from Seward High School. I then went to Chadron State College where I was torn between engineering and math education. After two years at CSC, I transferred to the University of Nebraska at Kearney where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics and Physics. In 2005, I graduated from UNK with a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Administration. I added an additional Masters in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology in 2012 from the American College of Education.
During my tenure, I have taught many classes which have helped me grow as a teacher and mentor. The classes include: 7th Grade Math, Algebra, Business Math, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I and II, Multi-Disciplinary Math, Microcomputers, Digital Media, Advanced Computers, Programming, and Hardware Design.
I have also been coaching throughout my tenure at TC. I have coached Girls Golf and Wrestling. I believe that hard work pays off for the true dedicated athlete. I also believe that out working all of the competition and learning from mistakes builds programs that will last for years.
I am also the father of two wonderful boys and the husband to the greatest wife in the world. Things that I enjoy doing with my family: golfing, hunting, fishing, all sporting activities, playing card games, board games, bike rides, and just being outside.
