First Grade is happy to have Sky Burger as a student teacher for the first eight weeks of the second semester. Sky is a Wilber native and is majoring in Early Childhood Unified and Elementary Education at UNK. Sky enjoys being around children and watching them grow from their experiences. Sky has been a part of the Ameri-Corps organization where she vlounteered in a kindergarten classroom and a summer activities program at the Kearney PAWS program. She worked as a Summer Staff Facilitator at Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center in Gretna. She has had many field experiences in classrooms through UNK. Sky is looking forward to her time here at Tri County this semester.
