On October 8th, a group of elementary students visited the Lincoln Children’s Zoo for the Sensory Safari. They explored and learned about nature using all of their senses. The students engaged in hands-on learning by touching animal skins, skulls, and horns. They felt different textures, including those of a snake, turtle, and bunny. They also explored their sense of smell and listened to a variety of animal sounds.
