Tri County Public Schools is Seeking a SPED/Special Services Director for 2026-2027
Tri County Public Schools is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the full-time position of SPED/Special Services Director. Applicants must be certified in Nebraska with either a) endorsements in both Administration and Special Education, or b) the ability to become endorsed in Administration and Special Education by the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Coaching and sponsorship opportunities are available but not required.
Duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:
Participate in IEP meetings;
Participate in and oversee Special Education transition planning/programming;
Participate in and oversee all Special Education-related staffing, staff and program evaluation, planning, implementation, and professional development/training activities;
Oversee and ensure effective implementation of MTSS programming;
Oversee and ensure effective implementation of Title 1/ESSA-related programming;
Fulfill responsibilities outlined in the job description for this position;
Maintain a time-and-effort log of duties associated with applicable funding sources.
The position begins August 1, 2026. Salary will be based on applicant experience and qualifications, and school comparability. Benefits include paid full family health insurance, paid dental insurance, paid FSA account, paid disability insurance, Section 125 cafeteria plan, NPERS retirement, PTO leave, and bereavement leave.

Tri County Public Schools is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the full-time position of 6th Grade ELA Teacher. Applicants should be certified in Nebraska to teach either Elementary Education or English-Language Arts Education, or be able to demonstrate the ability to receive such certification. Coaching and sponsorship opportunities are available.
Tri County Public Schools is a PK-12 district of approximately 435 students located in Southeast Nebraska, approximately 40 miles southwest of Lincoln.
The position begins August 10, 2026. Salary will be based on the teacher's placement on the salary schedule, ranging from $40,950 to $78,624. All years of prior teaching experience, and all education-related hours of postsecondary education will be accepted for placement on the salary schedule.
