Mr. Coenen's Advanced Algebra students participated in a mathematical "escape room" today to review for their upcoming test. Students solved problems, answered riddles, and searched for clues to unlock the closet containing their prize.

Today, we celebrate the incredible coaches who pour so much into our students at Tri County! We are so appreciative of our teachers and TC staff members who step up to serve in this role, as well as the coaches in our community who generously give their time, energy, and passion to our kids.
We know the relationships our coaches build with our students go far beyond the court, field, course, mat, or track. You teach lessons about teamwork, perseverance, discipline, confidence, character, and so much more, lessons that our students will carry with them long after the final whistle.

Our FFA students were in action again on Wednesday September 30th! A hand full of students competed at the Area Land Eval Contest. It was a rainy afternoon, but our teams competed to the best of their abilities, and brought back experience and new ideas! 😊

🏐 What a day for our Junior High Volleyball B Team! 🏐
For the first time, we took our B Team to the Southern Tournament this year, where they competed against A Team opponents — and they showed up ready to compete!
Our team battled their way to victories over Lewiston and Wilber, earning a spot in the championship game against Southern. They finished the day as Tournament Runner-Up! 🥈
While we are incredibly proud of what these athletes accomplished on the court, we're even more proud of the people they are becoming off the court.
Between games, our team visited a local business, and afterward, one of the employees took the time to share a wonderful compliment with us. She shared how kind and polite our student athletes were. ❤️
That may not show up on a scoreboard, but to us, it is just as meaningful as any win.

51 Mini Cheerleaders attended camp Friday morning and then performed at halftime of the football game to Dolly Partons 9 to 5. 🩷💙
The Trojans picked up a hard-fought 28-26 victory over JCC on Friday night to improve to 4-2 on the season!
Offensively, Trevor Kapke led the ground game with 117 rushing yards and 1 touchdown, while Justus Wehrman hauled in 3 receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Defensively, Owen Lewandowski paced the Trojans with 13 tackles and 1 tackle for loss.
The Trojans return to action on October 9 as we travel to Fairbury.

Our 6th graders have been working hard and using teamwork as they challenge themselves to complete their pentomino puzzles!
Congratulations to Stella Ensz & Sloan Esau who were selected to represent Tri County at the All State Orff Ensemble. The All State Orff Ensemble blends elements of music that include singing, dance, and playing percussion instruments. The event takes place in November in Lincoln and culminates with a final concert at the Kimball Recital Hall on the UNL Campus.
