As we close out the first semester and prepare to spend time with friends and family, we want to pause and say thank you to everyone who helps make Tri County Public Schools such a special place.

We are deeply grateful for our school board and administration, whose leadership and vision guide our district, and for our administrative staff who keep everything running smoothly each day. Thank you to our dedicated faculty and staff, paraeducators, coaches, bus drivers, kitchen crew, and maintenance and custodial teams for the countless ways you support our students and schools.

We also extend our thanks to our parents, families, and community members for your partnership and support, and to our students, who are the heart of all we do. The list is long because it truly takes a village, and we are incredibly thankful for each person who plays a role, seen and unseen, in making Tri County a place where students can learn, grow, and succeed.

Wishing everyone a restful, joyful break and meaningful time with friends and family.

From Blueprints to Birdies!
Our 7th grade Chapters and Courses students wrapped up the quarter with hands-on learning in “Blueprints to Birdies" a STEM project where students explored angles, teamwork, and creativity by designing and building their own 7-hole mini golf course. From a field trip to Prehistoric Putt Putt to putting their designs to the test, this project brought learning to life! 👉 Click to read the full article: https://www.tricountyschools.org/article/2606918

Each year Tri County has the neat opportunity to take part in nominating a student for the Saline County Shop With a Sheriff program. Counselors at participating schools select an elementary student to shop with a Sheriff for Christmas gifts for themselves and their family members, wrap gifts, and have supper. Students are always full of smiles when they find out about the surprise and are picked up at the school. This program brings lots of joy to these students! Programs like these aim to foster positive connections between children and law enforcement .
