Preschool Improvements – Proposed in the Bond
As part of the proposed bond, expanded preschool facilities would open more opportunities for early learning.
🔹 Two new preschool classrooms would allow for increased enrollment and better serve families in the district.
🔹 Added space means room to accept all in-district preschool applications, ensuring every child can start school ready to learn.
Early education builds the foundation for lifelong success—this investment helps every student begin strong.

Safety & Security – Proposed in the Bond
As part of the proposed bond, several upgrades are focused on improving student safety and strengthening the learning environment.
🔹 Main visitor entrances will be redesigned so all guests check in face-to-face with office staff before entering the building—enhancing security and visibility.
🔹 Elementary classrooms will receive permanent soundproof walls and doors, reducing noise and minimizing distractions to create a more focused learning environment.
These updates would provide safer, more secure, and more effective spaces for students and staff every day.

Our first graders have been diving into all things pumpkins! From learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin to identifying its parts inside and out, they’ve had hands-on fun exploring science this fall. Their learning came to life with a trip to Roca Berry Farms, where they saw pumpkin plants up close, picked their own pumpkins, and enjoyed a day full of fall fun and laughter.

🚍💛 We just want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing Tri County Transportation Department!
You all are the heartbeat behind so much of what happens here. Every day, you make sure our students get to and from school safely, and you’re the reason they can travel to games, contests, and activities all over the place.
When the winter activity calendar went out, every spot was filled within minutes — no hesitation, just teamwork. Driving through Nebraska winters is no easy job, but you handle it with so much care and commitment.
We appreciate you more than words can say. Thank you for keeping our students safe and our school moving! 💙💛

Don’t forget! Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend. Be sure to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night and enjoy that extra hour of sleep!

Last day of Nationals, we made our way to Louisville, Kentucky, where we toured the Louisville Slugger Bat Factory and saw firsthand how the bats are made. We finished the day at Churchill Downs, enjoying an unforgettable afternoon watching a few horse races and soaking in the atmosphere!

Day 2 in Indianapolis:
Competition day started bright and early! The team felt great about how everything went and are waiting on results. They wrapped up the day with a well deserved dinner at a local steakhouse!

🎃 Pumpkins can be tall or short, rough or smooth
🎃 Pumpkins float!
🎃 Pumpkins smell funny and are filled with goo!
