Our first graders have been diving into all things pumpkins! From learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin to identifying its parts inside and out, they’ve had hands-on fun exploring science this fall. Their learning came to life with a trip to Roca Berry Farms, where they saw pumpkin plants up close, picked their own pumpkins, and enjoyed a day full of fall fun and laughter.

🚍💛 We just want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing Tri County Transportation Department!
You all are the heartbeat behind so much of what happens here. Every day, you make sure our students get to and from school safely, and you’re the reason they can travel to games, contests, and activities all over the place.
When the winter activity calendar went out, every spot was filled within minutes — no hesitation, just teamwork. Driving through Nebraska winters is no easy job, but you handle it with so much care and commitment.
We appreciate you more than words can say. Thank you for keeping our students safe and our school moving! 💙💛

Last day of Nationals, we made our way to Louisville, Kentucky, where we toured the Louisville Slugger Bat Factory and saw firsthand how the bats are made. We finished the day at Churchill Downs, enjoying an unforgettable afternoon watching a few horse races and soaking in the atmosphere!

Day 2 in Indianapolis:

🎃 Pumpkins float!
🎃 Pumpkins smell funny and are filled with goo!
