Tri County Schools Accepting Sealed Bids
GREENHOUSE
- Greenhouse being sold as it sits.
- The purchaser is responsible for disassembling and removing the greenhouse from the school campus at own expense.
- Sale includes the existing heater and ventilation, but not tables or sink.
- Proceeds will be applied to the construction of the new greenhouse.
- Must be removed by June 1, 2026.
TABLE SAW
- Works well, but has been replaced by new safety table saws.
PLANTER BOXES
- Need to be removed prior to construction.
Sealed bids must be submitted to the Tri County School district office by March 24 at 2:00 PM and will be opened at that time. Please include your name, phone number, and address. Items will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. The district reserves the right to reject nominal bids. Payment is due one week following awarding of successful bid otherwise sale may be voided.

Huge congratulations to Meila Gronemeyer on receiving the prestigious NSAA Currency Believers & Achievers Award! Today Meila was recognized at halftime of the Class A boys basketball state championship game.

The Tri County 3rd graders had a Seusstastical Read Across America Week!
They spent the week "Reading Across Nebraska," by trying to read 459 books as a class.
They were star readers and were able to read 508 books! 📚
The juniors had a great day visiting University of Nebraska Lincoln today! They explored both City Campus and East Campus, learned more about college life, enjoyed lunch in a dining hall, and wrapped up the trip with some ice cream at the UNL Dairy Store.

Tri County Celebrates 3rd Annual Bookmark Design Contest
One of our favorite Read Across America traditions returned again this year with Tri County’s 3rd Annual Bookmark Design Contest. This contest has quickly become a student favorite, and many students look forward to the opportunity to showcase their creativity while celebrating reading.
Students from each grade level submitted original bookmark designs, and winners were selected from four divisions. This year’s winners are:
PK/K: Sadie Kalin
1st/2nd: Kelsey Hurd
3rd/4th: Tie — William Marshall and two-time winner Lane Roberts
5th/6th: Teran Koch
One of the most exciting parts of the contest is seeing the winning designs professionally printed and used as official Tri County library bookmarks. Our students love receiving them when they check out books, making the experience even more special.

Student Council is excited to announce the second annual Daddy-Daughter Dance! All proceeds from the dance will once again be donated to the Nebraska Make-a-Wish Foundation. The dance is available to students in grades Preschool to 6th grade.
Snacks and drinks will be provided along with a professional photo for download after the dance. Payment will be taken at the door the night of the dance. We can't wait to see everyone!
