Tri County High School’s annual homecoming will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025. Pregame activities will begin at 2:00 pm with a Walking Homecoming Parade featuring the Homecoming Court and Tri County fall athletes through the front of the high school parking lot, then at 2:30pm there will be a Homecoming Pep Rally in the High School Gymnasium. Other school organizations will be participating in Homecoming Fest on the Elementary playground, games will be free this year, thanks to the generous donations from the Blue and Gold Gala. Kickoff against Southern will be at 7:00 p.m. Homecoming Queen candidates will be introduced at halftime, and the 2025 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned immediately after the game.
This year’s king candidates are Henry Kapke, Ben McNiff, Drew Siems, Zach Vossler, and Jason Wehrman. The queen candidates are Sydney Brauer, Meila Gronemeyer, Isabelle Peters, Kenzi Scherling, and Kennadee Van Winkle. Briggs Moeller and Lizzie Gay will serve as this year’s crown bearers. Last year’s king, Cole Spahr and queen, Rylee McCune will be assisting with the coronation.
The homecoming dance this year will again take place on Saturday evening in the high school cafeteria. The dance will begin at 7:00 pm and will conclude at 11:00 pm. The theme for this year’s dance is On Cloud 9. The dance is open to all current 9th–12th graders at Tri County High School. The admission is $10 per person.
Grades K – 12 will also be celebrating Homecoming with Spirit Week. Monday is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Color Wars, Wednesday is Groutfit Day, Thursday is Jersey Day and the week concludes with the traditional Blue and Gold Day.
The Tri County Student Council is coordinating the homecoming activities again this year. The advisers for the student council are Mrs. Hannah Gay and Mrs. Ashton Wollenburg.
