During the month of October, Red Ribbon Week is celebrated in schools across the United States. During this week, elementary students learn the importance of making safe, healthy choices and how to stay drug-free. Red Ribbon Week will take place next week, October 26-29th. Our Elementary Student Council has been working hard the past few weeks preparing for this year's themes, dress-up days, and giveaways. Classroom counseling lessons during this week will focus on how students can make healthy choices and engage in positive activities, while also learning about the dangers of drug use. A special thank you to our Tri County PTO for help in sponsoring this week, as well as to all of our Student Council members for working hard to make it a fun week. Red Ribbon fliers should be coming home today with all elementary students!
