Students in Mr. Hennerberg’s biology class recently explored the microscopic world by preparing slides of onion cells and their own cheek cells! After staining their samples and preparing their wet mounts, students used microscopes to observe and compare plant and animal cells firsthand.
Their hands-on investigation helped bring cell structure to life while giving students experience with lab techniques and microscopic observations!
