In Second Grade Social Studies, we have been focusing on ways to show good citizenship. To practice our citizenship at school, we volunteered our time to help spread mulch and pick up trash. A big thank you to Kevin Weichel for helping us put our words into action!

Today in our Intro to Ag class, Mrs. Katz collaborated with Ms. Graff, and brought a fun lesson on the power of soft skills. Mrs. Katz emphasized how crucial these skills are not only in academics but also in sports, clubs, future careers, and everyday life.
The students had an engaging experience as they put these essential skills into action during a fun team-building activity. Working in groups of three, one team member was blindfolded while the others used their strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and creativity to guide their blindfolded teammate in constructing a structure.
It was inspiring to see our students practicing these vital skills and demonstrating how teamwork and effective communication can lead to success. Kudos to everyone for your enthusiastic participation and commitment to building a supportive and collaborative classroom environment!
